FAQs Stalls Our stalls are 12'x12' panel stalls conveniently located next to the arena. We require the use of stalls for both day riders and overnight stays. If you're dry camping and prefer to use a portable corral or tie line (so that your horse is near you), you'll still need to pay the stall fee. This goes toward our costs for manure disposal, property maintenance, etc. Stalls are $25/day or night. What to bring for your horse Bring your own water and feed buckets. If you forget, we can provide one, but we don't keep water/feed buckets in the stalls...we feel it's healthier if horses are NOT using buckets that have been left in the stalls. Initial shavings are in the stall, but if you like deep bedding, bring your own or we have additional shavings for purchase. Of course, bring your feed, tack, hay, etc. LQ Hookups We have LQ Hookups near the arena ($35/night). Hook-ups include water and electricity (30 amp service), but no waste disposal. We're only a few miles from the Harrison Bay State Park, so it's easy to pull into the park to dump your tanks there, if needed. Dry Camping If you'd like to dry camp ($35/night), we have areas around the property that are all within an easy walk of the kitchen and bathroom. You're welcome to pick your spot near the pond, in the trees, or near the arena depending on how much privacy you like and how near your horse you'd like to be. Hotels The nearest hotel is Island Cove Marina. They have both rooms and cabins for rent. Other Activities We have a pond with several kinds of fish, so bring your fishing poles! We also have a small berm if you'd like to practice some target shooting (berm is to be used ONLY with supervision)...or if you've thought about learning to shoot, talk to one of us about a lesson. Restaurants, Grocery Stores, etc We're only ~8 miles from a full size grocery store. We also have a feed store within a few miles and a Family Dollar...so if you forget something, you have some options. For nearby restaurants, we have Country Cafe and Amigos..and then anything else you might like about 30 minutes away, either by driving into Cleveland, Ooltewah, or the Hamilton Place Mall area.
